MRS. ALETHIA MCDANIEL ROUSE, 82, of Charleston, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 13, 2012. She is survived by her loving children: Elnora Reaves Ferguson (Bishop Alfred), Geneva Rouse Drayton (Ernest), Yusef A. Adair, Joshua Rouse (Irene), Karen Rouse Sumpter (Keith), Kenneth Rouse (Rose) all of Charleston, SC, Eddie J. Rouse and Marilyn Rouse of New York, NY; three grandchildren of the home: Shekia Grant (Earl), Vernisha Richardson and Defaria Reaves all of Charleston, SC; two special grandchildren, Bengeina Simmons and Lathonia Fleming; 38 other adoring grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren; sisters: Katherine Watson, Ellen McDaniel and Lillie McDaniel; best friend, Albertha Grant and host of other loving relatives and caring friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Rouse, Sr. and six brothers: Elijah (Margaret) McDaniel, Frank (Angie) McDaniel, Leroy McDaniel, Leon McDaniel, Norman (Virgie) McDaniel and Roger (Evangelist Christie) McDaniel. The family will be receiving friends at 51 Hanover Street, Charleston, SC 29403.
