Alfonso Bubba Simmons

Alfonso "Bubba, Al" Simmons entered into eternal rest on Father's Day, June 21, 2020. He was the son of the late Joseph and Martha Simmons. Alfonso is survived by his children: Pearl Simmons, Alethia Deas, Laquantis Brown, Nihesha Simmons, Raymond Young, Alphonso Washington, Antwan Young, Alexis Young, Alkeeno Young and Angelo Young; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings: Joseph Simmons (Jane), Elizabeth Joseph, Shirley Simmons Gadsden (Late Marvin), Lenora Bryant, Sheryl Johnson, Wanda Simmons Williams and Derrick Simmons; beloved partner, Cathy Young; special friend, Paulette Judge; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Deloris Anderson, Christine Gilliam, Rosemary White and Cynthia Ellis.
