Bernard "Smitty" Smith, 58, of North Charleston, South Carolina, departed this life on Monday, December 5, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Nelson; children: Bernard Stanley, Elainde Williams-Shivers (Raymond), Ellery Williams, Anthony Joyner, Antwynette Smith, Zandria Smith and Latia Rivers; mother, Ethel Smith; siblings: Dorothy Scott, William Smith (Bonnie), Matthew Smith, Diane Smith (Carval), Roberta Smith, Tony Smith, Patricia Miller, Emily Macon (Dale) and Elnora Garrett; and a host of loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews cousins and caring friends.
