Evangelist Dorothy Mae Brown, 83, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, October 1, 2024. She is survived by her loving husband, Herbert Lee Brown; children, Timothy Brown (Junko), and Veronica Smith (Derrick); grandchildren: Noah T. Brown, Alica S. Brown, Jaden X. Smith, Gavin N. Smith, and Teagan T. Smith; siblings: Herbert Jenkins, Jr. (Mattie), Bobby Jenkins, Russell Jenkins (Flora), James Jenkins (Audrey) Perry Jenkins (Kathy), Barbara Dawson, Thomas Jenkins (Alexandria), Nathaniel Jenkins (Joy), and Amelia Simmons (Cephus); in-laws: Henry Brown (Caroline), Peter Brown (the late Marlene), Patricia Cooper, Jennie Washington (the late JoJo), Mary Brown, and Jackie Brown, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbet and Caroline Brown; sister, Carrie Ellis; brother, Robert Jenkins; sisters-in-law: Cassandra Jenkins, Peggy Tims, and Ethel Cooper and brothers-in-law, Willie Ellis, Sr., and Robert Dawson.
