Gertrude Williams, born Gertrude Sawyer in Darlington, SC on September 26, 1940, to the late Elias and Eloise Sawyer. She was a beacon of warmth and love to all who knew her. Within her family circle, she was affectionately known as "Trudy" and "Baba" (pronounced Bay-Bay), embodying a tender presence that left an indelible mark on their hearts. Gertrude's journey may have reached its earthly conclusion, but her legacy of love and kindness lives on in the hearts of all who were touched by her warmth and compassion.
