Guerard Eugene Sherman Obituary (1981

On Wednesday afternoon the fifth of November, Guerard Eugene Sherman went home to be with the Lord. Guerard was the youngest child of Jackie and Ralph Sherman. He attended the public schools on John's Island. At an early age, he attended St. James AME Church. Guerard enjoyed fishing, grilling, painting and automotive mechanics. He worked alongside his dad in landscaping for many years. He was often called a "Jack of All Trades". Guerard also loved watching sports. His favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Lakers. Guerard leaves to cherish fond memories: His parents Ralph and Jackie Sherman adopted son Raheem Xavier Baker (Deceased), two brothers Stanley Wilder (Cynthia), Dwayne Sherman (Tiffany), a sister Kreshenda Sherman, a special friend Chan Carter, a host of uncles and aunts, a grand-uncle and grand-aunt, 3 nephews, 4 nieces, 2 grand-nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
