She is survived by her loving son, Natavius Simmons; grandchildren: Jamond Simmons Jr., Xavier McDaniel, Nia Simmons-McDaniel, Skylar Simmons, and Angel Simmons; mother, Ms. Minnie Brown Smith; siblings: Steven Brown (Vanessa), Glendora Brown Feemster (Kevin M. Sr.), Darlene Brown Marshall (Edwin Sr.), Joyce Hall, Bishop Steven Simmons (Denise), Sharonda Simmons, and Harry Heyward; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. Ms. Marvetta was preceded in death by her children: Jamond Simmons Sr., and Precious Simmons; father, Bishop Joseph Simmons; brothers: Clinton Brown, Larry Brown, and St. Julius Wright. .
