Mary Etta Rivers

Mary Etta attened the public schools of Charleston. She was a Y-teen and a Girl Scout at an early age, she went on to become a Girl Scout Leader and was the Service Unit 61 Manager for 15 years until her health failed.
She received her accounting certificate at manpower Corp. She was employed at Majix Market/ Lil' Cricket for 17 years until her health faileds. She worked serveral other places prior to this company.
Mary Etta was a lifetime member of Greater St. Luke A.M.E. Church. She was a member of the Usher Board and the Secetary. She was a member of the Usher Council No. 1.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories her children Laquetta Williams (William), Jacqueline Rivers (Robbie), Pamela Nelson (Smitty), Terry Rivers and Kim Evans (Wendell)all Charleston, SC; her sisters, Dorothy R. Robinson of Charleston, SC, Jenette Matthews (Fleming) and Catherine Morant (Anthony), both of Brooklyn, NY; her grandchildren Justin, Courtney, Tamara, Eric, Derrick, Letia, Ronald, Jamaal alicia, Terelle, Terrance, Darren Tyler, Keyonna and Zandria; step grandchildren, Tashira and Deyshe; great grandchildren Dewayne Jr., De'Asia, Cierra, Demetrius, Tavarus, Saniyah, Taylor-Simone and Abrianna and a host of nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins. one sister-in-law Bernice Frayer of Charleston, SC. Special Friends: Mr. Oliver K. Perry, Mr. & Mrs. Elijah Rhodes loving friends. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Miriam T. Rivers, Arthuree R. Miles and Clarence L. Rivers.
