MR. MELVIN L. STONEY, Obituary (1952

Melvin Littell Stoney, III, 62, of Summerville, SC, entered into eternal rest on December 7, 2014. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held this evening, December 12, 2014 at 7:00 pm in The Palmetto Mortuary Memorial Chapel, 1122 Morrison Drive, Charleston, SC 29403. Visitation for Mr. Stoney will be today at the mortuary from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm where the family will be receiving friends beginning at 6:00 pm He is survived by his loving children, Antwan Buggs, Tushawanda Buggs, Aaron Lorick (Denise), Melvin L. Stoney, IV, Dionne Dunlap (Donnell), and Alonzo Stoney; siblings: Lucinda Stoney Hazelton, Deborah Washington (Jimmy) and Paul Stoney; former wife Dennia Stoney Taylor; 17 grandchildren; loving aunt, Flossie Merritt: devoted nephew Angelo Simmons (Toney) and nieces, Crystal Simmons and Alexis Perry (Mernt) as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other loving relatives and sympathetic friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Stoney, Jr. and Bernice Merritt Stoney and sister, Jean Dell Simmons.
