Minnie L. Taylor

Minnie Lavern Carter (94) was the youngest of 9 children born to Charles W and Hettie E Carter who proceeded her in death. She was born in Riverside California on February 28, 1930. Minnie was the youngest of The Carter 9 children. Randolph Carter, Claude Carter, Anna Lucille Stowe, Josephine-Proctor-Williams, Charles A Carter Jr, Harry Carter, Marjorie Culpepper &, Alma Jefferson.: Her childhood years were spent in Riverside where she attended elementary through high school and college at Riverside City College. She met and married Donald R Evans Sr, who was stationed at March AFB. She leaves to mourn her 5 children: Rae Marlene Evans, Ramona L Evans, Sheila L Smith (David), Donald R Evans Jr (Vevelyn) Phillip D Evans (Deceased), Angela G Evans-Swinton (James). The Evans family traveled all over the world where Minnie stayed home to raise her children working in between her husband's assignments. Minnie married John Taylor in 1978 and lived in Chicago, Illinois for 37 years until her husband passed in February 24, 2017. She then returned to California. In 2023 she came to South Carolina to stay with her youngest daughter Angela and Jimmy Swinton.
