Col. (U.S. Army Ret.) Lonnie L. Stith, Esq. was born July 4, 1949 in Newport News, Virginia to the late Grace Evelyn (Miles) and the late Harry Wendall Stith, Sr. On Wednesday, October 25, 2017, he entered eternal peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The transitioned took place at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina as a result of post knee surgery complications. To cherish his memories, Lonnie leaves his wife, Dr. Carol Denise (Jackson) Stith; her mother, Mrs. Clara Smith Jackson and her brother, Dr. Terrence Wise; his siblings: Mrs. Michele Bell (husband James), Ms. Sharron Reid, Mrs. Bonita Daughtrey (husband Jessie), Mrs. Donna Scott (husband James Eric), Mrs. Candace Lee (husband Michael), Ms. Valerie Clayton, Mr. Terrell Stith and Mr. Darrell Stith all of Hampton, VA and a host of other loving family and sympathetic friends. Lonnie was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Monroe Walter Stith and Mr. Harry Wendall Stith, Jr. (wife Karen). .
